16 Days of Prayer 2024

Join us in 16 Days of Prayer. Each day will have a different focus. This year, the White Ribbon strap-line is ‘It Starts With Men’ and this year our 16 Days of Prayer are led by a larger number of men than usual.

Staying in Aberdeen, we have Dr Katie Cross, lecturer in Theology at Aberdeen University leading our prayers today.

CADA North East has friends everywhere! We have had prayers from Uganda, and, previous years, prayers from Romania and Ukraine. Today, we go to the South West of England, to Fowey in Cornwall, where we join Philip de Grey-Warters.

Day 10

CADA North East has had the privilege this year of working with Rev’d Gareth Sherwood of Trinity Methodist Church, Hexham who has enabled our White Ribbon Service there on 7th December. Join Gareth as he leads us in prayer for children caught up in domestic abuse.

Rev’d Dr Nick Moore, Warden of Cranmer Hall leads us in prayer today.

Day 8

The Red Chair Project. Around the world a single red chair symbolising a missing woman is left in a public place.
