Between 25 November (International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women) & 10 December (Human Rights Day) is the the 16-Days-of-Activism-against-Gender-Based-Violence campaign which takes place every year.

During this time CADA North East has 16 days of prayer…

“Why pray?” I hear you ask. After all, prayer’s not “active”

Well… Why not?

We are Christians and we believe that…

• God hears and answers prayer

• God is actively involved in our lives (though we usually don’t realise it)

• God created us, loves & cares for us, and the world we live in

• Our God is a God of justice and power

And, so… if this is the kind of God we believe in why would we not want His help?
